The piste begins by leading through the picturesque village of Nigüelas (a starting point for hikes), then winds its way up the treeless mountainside in a series of switchbacks. The route continues across a high plateau, offering frequent glimpses of snow-capped peaks. A real treat awaits after the circuit around the mountainside: an exposed slope that impresses with its views and colorful, eroded terrain. The descent follows the familiar switchbacks, now offering the advantage of unobstructed views.
