The trails go through national parks where the mountains can reach up to 3,000 meters in height. Trail Assessment. It is always difficult to assess a trail, as we may have driven it after a prolonged dry spell, resulting in an assessment that would later be inaccurate under different weather conditions.

Weather:
The southern latitude promises excellent weather in the summer, and this is indeed the case. Thanks to the many mountains, the climate is very pleasant in summer. In winter, the high mountains are usually snow-covered, but the rest of the country is generally mild.

Traffic: There is moderate traffic on the small paved roads. On some of our off-road trails, we didn't encounter a single soul all day.
