This tour is a tourist route. We frequently encounter off-road vehicles, quads, and enduro bikes. Many locals guide tourists to this area. Sometimes we encounter entire convoys. There's no solitude here.
|
We also encountered our only failure on this Morocco trip. The rear frame broke; the load was too high. We secured and secured the rear end with several cable ties, which held up throughout the entire Morocco tour. |

We drive through a dried-up salt lake and can see a mirage. In the middle of the lake, there are two cafes run by young people. Here you can drink Coke or tea, have a snack, or even spend the night in this magnificent setting. |
We continue to the larger dunes – ergs – around the dried-up salt lake. Camps for passengers flying from Marrakech and Quarzazarte are set up in the middle of the dunes. | ![]() |

Here, you can have fun driving your off-road vehicle over the dunes. There's something for everyone: gravel, sand, a rock-hard salt lake, or dunes from 1.0 m to 10 m high. |
