Route Description |

| The descent from the pass feels almost like riding in the Dolomites. Since the route winds closely past rocky cliffs, you are treated to magnificent views of the surrounding mountain scenery throughout the ride. Upon reaching the bottom, we join a main road, which we follow for a stretch before turning off onto a smaller side road. We now ride once again through the Corsican interior; here, we occasionally encounter road cyclists or motorcyclists as we cross smaller passes and traverse valleys, until finally arriving at a tourist town. Here, once again, we find a selection of cafés. |

| From there, the road widens again; we cross a high mountain pass and reach a ski resort, descend back into the valley, and arrive once more at a pass summit, where we now join a main tourist route heading toward Monte Cinto. Here, the traffic becomes noticeably heavier—though by our standards, it remains light. We continue along this tourist route, keeping the towering mountains constantly in view. We reach a lake, after which a vast gorge begins—an area where many tourist buses are on the move.. |

| At its most interesting spots, the gorge features small parking bays—perfect for taking photos or simply enjoying the view. After passing through the gorge, we continue driving until we reach our destination for the day: the city of Corte. The unofficial capital of Corsica, it is a magnet for tourists, crowned by a citadel perched atop the rocks. |
